    Driver dies after car and truck collide near Ballarat
    A driver has died after his car collided with a truck south of Ballarat on Sunday afternoon. Police say the accident occurred on Rokewood-Skipton Road around 3.30pm. The driver of the car died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified. The truck driver is being treated for minor injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Sunday's fatal collision brings the state's death toll to 196, up from 169 in 2015.
